    The Twin Souls ''Family & Friends '' - Limited Vinyl Edition

    For the past 5 years, The Twin Souls (Martin and Guilhem Marcos) have been building their reputation by touring the roads of France, from venues to festivals, and even expanding their reach to Spain with a 10-concert tour on the Iberian Peninsula in 2023. These 5 years have been filled with experiences and encounters that they want to pay tribute to through the release of 4 new tracks, parallel to the writing of their next step: their 1st album !

    On 2 entirely new tracks, "The One" and "Remember," they collaborate with Dätcha Mandala, with whom they have formed strong bonds, and Tonio Marcos, their father, a career musician (notably a guitarist for Michel Delpech) and a major influence on their musical, artistic, and professional journey.

    On the other 2 tracks, "Tenderly" and "Hey Hey," re-recorded for this occasion, they reunite with Yarol Poupaud, with whom they played, among other things, on the terrace of Trabendo in Paris in 2021, and Gunnar Ellwanger, the leader of Gunwood, one of their favorite bands. Both of them were drawn to the duo's organic rock universe.

    Martin & Guilhem: "In a way, these 4 collaborations embody the different colors and influences present in our music – the burning and intoxicating blues that harks back to the roots of music with YAROL POUPAUD, the warmth of harmony and intimate emotion with GUNNAR ELLWANGER & TONIO MARCOS, and the wild, passionate, and urgent rock with DATCHA MANDALA."

    "FAMILY & FRIENDS" will comprise 13 tracks, including the 9 pieces from their 2 EPs, fully remastered, and these 4 new songs, available in digital format but also, and most importantly for rock bands, on a 33 rpm vinyl record ! The release is scheduled for February 2024 on Archipel.

Depuis 5 ans, The Twin Souls (Martin et Guilhem Marcos) forgent leur réputation en parcourant les routes de France, de salles en Festivals, mais également celles de l’Espagne avec une première tournée de 10 concerts dans la péninsule en 2023. 5 années riches d'expériences et de rencontres auxquelles ils souhaitent rendre hommage à travers la sortie de 4 titres inédits en parallèle de l’écriture de la prochaine étape : leur 1er album !

Sur 2 titres totalement inédits « The One » et « Remember », on retrouve les Dätcha Mandala avec lesquels de forts liens se sont tissés et Tonio Marcos, leur père, musicien de carrière (Guitariste pour Michel Delpech notamment) et influence majeure du parcours musical, artistique et professionnel de ses deux fils.

Sur les 2 autres titres « Tenderly » et « Hey Hey », ré-enregistrés pour l’occasion, on retrouve Yarol Poupaud avec qui ils ont joué, entre autres 1ères parties, sur la terrasse du Trabendo à Paris en 2021 et Gunnar Ellwanger, leader de Gunwood, un de leurs groupes "coups de cœur". Tous deux étant venus naturellement discuter de leur passion commune, interpellés par l’univers Rock organique du duo.
