Comme une pause dans une série d’évocations malaisantes, The Acrobats décrit l’émerveillement romantique et juvénile face à des activités physiques dangereuses et à l’invitation au «voyage», rarement questionnée dans sa dimension symbolique et intérieure, au profit d’une découverte du monde physique reposant sur un recours trop fréquent à un mode de transport polluant. En creux, l’insondable question de la vie et de la mort des civilisations, qui rythme notre histoire.

A break from a series of uneasy evocations, The Acrobats describes the romantic, juvenile fascination with dangerous physical activities and the fantasy of “traveling”, rarely questioned in its symbolic and inner dimension, to the benefit a discovery of the physical world based on the too frequent use of a polluting transportation mode. Implicitly, the question of the life and death of civilizations, which is the pulse of our history.
